I can hear people asking that question about this blog. Why, would anyone bother setting up a site for someone else ?

As they’re such a great Company, they have already won loads of awards so, please read this tiny bit of text as a guide to how to vote them in this year.

For a while I’ve been thinking that I was somehow off my head.

I have some weird inclination to register domain names atthe drop of a hat.

It seems I’m not the only one….

What has this got to do with Blacknight ?

Well 2 things really.  I use them to register the domains and this man seems to be aflicted with the same illness.

So it’s 10pm on a Sat night and I noticed this post on Blacknights Twitter account / wesbite.

Ok, so I may be sad for noticing this at this hour but that’s just another exmple of their commitment to customers service.

One of Blacknight’s latest offering is Hosted Exchange 2007.  When I heard about this via the grapevine I breathed a huge sigh of relief.  “Why?”  you may ask.  I’ll tell you why then

We like to develop applications for our clients.  We do not market ourselves as hosting providers and we prefer the specialists to get on with providing e-mail and other services.

So, now our clients have access to a robust, scalable product + the support levels to match and we get to spend our time doing what we love to do best. Developing.

While this blog is purely for my own satisfaction,  I’m always interested to know what other peple’s opinions are and whether they agree with me or believe I’m just talking s***.

This is the other reason for this blog.

So, it’s open to comments, suggestions and general rant and raving.

It still remains my blog so I will not be publishing any obvious spam and comments that are just made to be nasty  and have no relevant information attached.

While I imgine there may be some negative feedback about both  blog and Blacknight I’m pretty open to suggestions and constructive criticism and I’m pretty sure BK are too.
